The Green House is only possible because of the generous monthly contributions received from roughly six dozen "Sustainers."

Will you be a Green House Sustainer, too?

It costs about $1,500 per month to operate the Green House, including rent, electricity, phone, paper/pens and other office supplies, food and drink, and other miscellaneous items. (Monthly financial statements are sent out to Sustainers, detailing Green House expenditures and income.)

Additionally, we spend some funds each month simply to promote the office: things like the monthly Green House newsletter, flyers, phone banking, etc. (But all the labor is provided by volunteers.) What good is having a public office if the public doesn't know about it?

Our Sustainers are honored in our newsletter and their names are also prominently displayed in the Green House office itself (unless they prefer to contribute anonymously).

All Sustainers receive the monthly newsletter along with a personal statement itemizing their pledges and payments. Sustainers can also place free classified ads in the newsletter!

Standard monthly pledges are $5, $10, $25 and $50. We gratefully accept any size pledge, but for bookkeeping ease, please try to make it monthly, and in multiples of $5.

There is no obligation or commitment – you can change your pledge at any time for any reason. If you get behind, we can cancel old, unpaid pledges. You do not have to sign anything.
